[American Motorcyclist Association] - American Motorcyclist Association welcomes Pola

Victory and Indian motorcycle owners can choose AMA membership affinity cards

PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- The American Motorcyclist Association and Polaris Industries Inc. are pleased to announce that Polaris Industries has become an AMA business member, and owners of Victory or Indian brand motorcycles can opt into a new AMA affinity program that includes Victory- or Indian-themed membership cards.

AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman enthusiastically welcomed Victory and Indian motorcycle brands into the AMA's affinity program and Polaris as a business member.

"Polaris Industries is recognized as a worldwide leader in the powersports market, and the company's ever-expanding lineup of quality motorcycle brands and models demonstrates Polaris' commitment to supporting the two-wheeled market," Dingman said. "We are happy to have Polaris as a business member and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship."

"Victory and Indian Motorcycle are proud to be a Top Tier Business Member of the AMA," said Steve Menneto, Polaris' vice president for motorcycles. "Supporting this organization aligns with our values of protecting our riders' rights to ensure they have the best possible experience on the road. It is important to our organization to endorse and promote the motorcycling lifestyle."

"Enthusiasts with an affinity for Victory and Indian motorcycles can choose a special AMA membership card themed around either of those two brands," Dingman said. "It's a great way for members to connect with their favorite brands through the AMA."

Dingman also highlighted the many advantages of AMA membership.

"AMA members enjoy premier membership benefits, such as the ability to compete in the country's best amateur racing and recreational events, the security of AMA Roadside Assistance, and the knowledge that they support the foremost organization that fights for your right to ride -- on road and off," Dingman said. "Now, for no additional cost above the $49 annual membership dues, owners of Victory or Indian motorcycles can proudly display their brand loyalty on their AMA membership cards."

The primary benefit of AMA membership is becoming part of the team that promotes the motorcycle lifestyle and fights for the rights of riders and racers.

The AMA is at the forefront in battling insurance discrimination, motorcycle-only checkpoints, government mandates for E-15 fuel, unfair restrictions on the use of public lands, laws that infringe on riding on private property and ensuring the safety of motorcyclists on the road.

An AMA membership costs just $49 a year, includes automatic renewal and provides the member with AMA Roadside Assistance at no additional charge. That's in addition to all the other great member discounts and other benefits.

The financial benefits of AMA membership are substantial and include discounts from national retailers and hotel chains, car rentals and motorcycle tours and travel. For the complete list, see www.americanmotorcyclist.com > Benefits of Membership.

Included with most AMA membership types is a 12-month subscription to American Motorcyclist magazine. Available in two versions -- Street or Competition & Off-Road -- the publication features ride stories, product reviews and features on motorcyclists and motorcycling activists while keeping members up to date on the latest actions that affect riders and riders' rights.

AMA members also have access to hundreds of AMA-sanctioned competition and recreational events. AMA races include a wide range of skill-, age- and motorcycle-based classes across numerous disciplines, from motocross to woods racing to dirt-track racing and more.

Other available AMA affinity membership cards include: KTM, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Star, U.S. Armed Forces, Woman Rider, Scooter and ATV.

Companies that are interested in establishing an affinity relationship with the AMA are invited to contact the AMA Member Services at (800) 262-5646.
