Why didn't I ever post on this thread? Technically, I'm both a chick and usually on a bike.... At least that's what I've been lead to believe.

Because saluting is way cooler than waving

My first ride of the year when I went to one of the more technical, twistie canyons around me. Turns out, there are a couple professional photographers that hang out on some of the turns.

And this one's not on a motorcycle, but I'm still riding- or falling off, rather:

The company I work for flies everyone to Vegas every year for the company Christmas party, and well, it turns out they have a mechanical bull at the Monte Carlo. I got to be the first one on it I was staring at it all night hoping they'd start it up before the party was over, so I drank next to nothing so I'd be able to stay on longer if they did (I don't particularly like alcohol anyways, so that wasn't too hard). Didn't last very long, but it was awesome.

And I'm not riding anything here, but:

I'm on the far left. My sister's the one in the wedding dress, and that's the goofball she married ^_^

I don't have any pictures in my one piece tracksuit, unfortunately. Also unfortunately, that means I didn't get any pictures in it before I crashed it >_< Oh well. This threads awesome just the same. I wish I knew some other women who ride

Protected me pretty well in that high (low?) side. Nylons are very abrasion resistant when you're sliding on blow up mats. Haha, super slippery though. I'd recommend wearing some next time you end up on a bull- as long as you take pictures

..... I'm not very good at pretending to be fancy for extended periods of time

Haha, thanks I love scorpion's designs. Not too frilly, but still feminine enough that I don't look too manly. I was going for the "White knight upon a fiery steed" as I (now slightly less secretly) have a bit of fondness for 80's Diva power ballads sometimes, and I may have been somewhat addicted to "Holding out for a Hero" at the time. I-It's a catchy song ^^; I ended up just being known as the white ranger amongst my coworkers, but that's equally awesome, so I don't mind

Ok. Just got back from my first ride of the year. It was 40 degrees here, but I had to go get my next to last mod done.

Tigress, very nice looking bike.
From the notes on your bike I take it you are a musician. What instrument do you play?

Thanks guys. I do play, but i LOVE LOVE LOVE music. I got lucky and married a musician. He plays piano, base guitar, tuba, and drums. I just figured I would do something a little different to make it my own.

She is hot for a girl of any age. She is really hot for a lady of her age. It is fun to watch guys in their 20's hit on her at the track. They don't know what to say when she tells them she is old enough to be their mom.

Riding motorbikes keep you young.

Here's me, its taken a while to get a picture. Had a fabulous ride out today. The Ninjette might be the smallest CC bike I've ever had, but it's definitely the most fun!

these are some of my favourite pics of me on bikes... I don't have one of me on my new 250R yet, but I'll post one when I get one!

Me on my first bike - 03 ZZR-250

First "upgrade" - 02 Ninja ZX-6R

At the Track!

First Race - 03 Honda RC51 (I miss this bike!)

First brand new bike - 06 Suzuki GSXR-600 (I really miss this bike!)

Second race bike - 03 Yamaha R6 - I crashed during this lap and broke my back

Six months later - back in the saddle at Jennings GP - this was my final session of 3 days - took a while to get "comfy" again, but draggin' knees is worth it!

First race after my accident - leading for the first time too! (I finished second after almost crashing!)

Back to the scene of the crime! I finished 3rd in this race - a huge achievement for me as I am terrified of the track!

And finally....

Me on my 07 Honda CRF150F in my wedding dress! lol!

After six months of not being allowed to ride (July to December), Jennings was really the only option unless I wanted to wait until the snow melted here! A group of us went down so it was well worth it. Plus mentally, I really needed to get back on the bike. I had crashed a few times before, but never so badly that I didn't walk away from it. Having to wait six months to even attempt to ride was not fun.

I had a burst fracture of the L3 vertebrae (and a broken bone in my foot where the bike landed on it!). I was in hospital for 9 days and then 3 months in a back brace. Physio was a no go for me as I didn't have surgery.

Riding again at 6 months was the earliest possible date that the docs would allow, and even then, they weren't happy about it. I spent Jan-April working with a sports therapist/chiropractor to get ready for the race season. I had a crash in early season that set me back a bit, but didn't stop me from racing!

I still have a fair bit of pain from the injury, but it's as healed as it will ever be. The better physical shape I am in, the less it hurts. I swim a couple times a week to keep it from getting too sore and see a chiropractor every now and then (although they never go near the break when they do adjustments).
