Christmas gift

I consider this my Christmas gift to myself!

I traded my 49cc Chinese scooter (plus $200)

for this "Street Fighter" '99 Ninjette last Sunday:

Do you have front turns I'm overlooking? Curious how the law has felt about it if there aren't any turns

A couple days after Christmas I went to the shop to have a new chain and sprockets put on. During the install the mechanic says to me "I better hurry up so you can get home before the snow." I laughed along with him, thinking that his comment was his recognition of how slow he was working since there was no snow in the forecast for a couple of days.

Moral of the story: trust your mechanic

I used to feel the same way but now I am starting to see the beauty in "ugly" bikes. My next bike will be a 90s Pregen project bike.
