Welcome! And how do you like that cb500x? Seems like the perfect bike in many ways to me.

I love the CB500X, it is the perfect almost do everything bike for me. Putting a set of TKC80's on it to be able to ride anywhere I feel like.

The only reason I go the 300 is for the track, it will be track only eventually.

Riding in Toronto sucks, traffic is terrible. Northern Ontario however is a great ride, most of us go down south to the USA for our nicer longer rides.

I'd like to ride up to Tobermory or Parry Sound sometime on a bike, maybe on a cb500x. Going by car soon with kayaks. Plan to ride around Lake Erie in September on my ninjette with some friends from work.

Haven't done Tobermory yet but there is an event for a group ride called Ride Manitoulin coming up July 17th - 19th. You should check that one out.

http://www.ridemanitoulin.ca/

There is a ride for all pavement and another one for the people that want to get into some dirt.

First day out with the new bike and put 400 kms on it riding in northeastern Ontario, what a fun bike to ride.
