low beam or high beam brighter? only choose one
I'm running 1 65W bulb which only give me enough on a 10A fuse to run 1 65W bulb and 1 55W. Would you rather have your low bream or high bream significantly brighter?
Right now I have the 65W in the low beam so I can always take advantage of more light, but I'm curious what others would decide if you had to choose one over the other. |

I would choose a brighter low beam as long as it was not so bright that it blinded oncoming traffic.

As long as you plan to use a Halogen bulb, I'd go with the low beam. You use it most often. Plus, as pointed out in the thread above, that reflector is designed to distribute light in a wide and low pattern. As long as you use a halogen, the light pattern won't change and you'll be just fine.

I noticed no change to the light pattern with these bulbs. They are actually H9's designed to fit an H7, so 700 more lumens and a bulb that lasts as long as a regular bulb, no 1/4 life bulbs
