KOSO RX2

Hello All,

Just wanted to share... I have just bought a new Koso RX2 from mad8v.com for $90 plus shipping. Great service from Sergei Petrov, shipped very fast.

Its made for a Fischer bike but this should fit our bikes without problem. I'll wait for it to arrive.

regards

Got one from him as well.

No plans for it at the moment, but I'm sure I can find some use for it.

I've bought numerous SV650 parts from him. In addition to the "Fischer" Koso, I also got a Ohlins shock for my SV from him. Can't wait to get that on...

Good guy.

you may want to look into the Plug and Play kit, it will make installation a lot easier.

News on the Fischer/Koso gauges: The supply must have dwindled really quickly. The seller no longer can supply the koso speed sensor brackets with the kit (mine came with them) and the price has been bumped up by $25 to $115 + shipping (still very good pricing).

I'm also fairly sure it's cheaper to just crimp the required connectors onto the wires yourself using small quantity vendors such as eastern beaver, cycle terminal, or any other vendor of hitachi/sumitomo electrical products.
So much is already included in the mad8v kit (harness, thermocouples, etc.) it really seems like a waste to get the koso PnP kit as well.

Although, I'm not familiar with the water/oil temp adapter hardware. I don't know where to source the threaded aluminium fittings. That's a bit of a drag, so it may be worth getting the Koso PnP kit for just those.

gotta go back and dig through all the old threads....

The shipper somehow got my acrylic stock destroyed or lost, so I'm waiting on another one.
