NiteRider releases Pro ADV 1800 series, a lightweight, low-profile auxiliary light set suitable for ADV, dual-sport, or off-road applications.*

Begin Press Release:

NiteRider Announces*Pro ADV 1800 Light Set

Lightweight auxiliary lighting for adventure/dual-sport bikes

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (August*16, 2017) —*Following NiteRider’s recent announcement of the ADV 3600 lighting system for adventure motorcycles, the company announces the ADV 1800 Set, a lightweight, low-profile auxiliary lighting system suitable for adventure, dual-sport, and off-road applications.

NiteRider, which launched nearly three decades ago when founder Tom Carroll needed lighting for surfing at night, has since established itself as the clear leader in premier lighting systems for bicycle use. More recently, NiteRider has quickly gained attention with its motorcycle systems, and the ADV 1800, hand-assembled in San Diego, is sure to enhance that growing reputation. Like the larger version, it is rugged and powerful and features painstaking design and exhaustive engineering. A pair of dual-beam CREE™ LED units (the highest-performing LEDs on the market) emit 3600 lumens each through Borofloat® high-quality glass lenses.

The hard-wired system is easy to install, with thorough instructions, meticulously designed wiring harnesses, and gold-plated, military-spec connectors. Mounts are machined from aluminum and are hard-anodized, and the system comes with plastic shims of varying thicknesses. RAM mounting is also possible via an available version with a 1-inch ball.

In use, the ADV 1800 Set enhances the riding experience, increasing visibility by delivering illumination to areas that headlights don’t reach. Dual custom reflectors achieve off-road-specific beam patterns, and by using a thumb-controlled handlebar-mounted remote switch, riders can select from three modes: high, low, and safety-flash. All cables feature high-quality rubber jackets that remain flexible even in very cold conditions.

“It’s been gratifying to see the motorcycle market’s acceptance of NiteRider products,” Carroll said. “Our lighting systems have proven themselves in a number of applications, but powersports is arguably the best fit of all, given the need for components that have a high build quality and perform exceptionally. We expect the ADV 1800 Set to be a big hit.”

Covered by a lifetime warranty against defects in materials, workmanship, mechanical components, and LEDs, the ADV 1800 Set includes two headlamps, a hardwire harness kit with remote switch, and mounting clamps with mounting hardware. Suggested retail price is $439.99. For more info, visit www.niterider.com.
