[American Motorcyclist Association] - 2015 FIM International Six Days’ Enduro: The co

The following is an industry press release...

Anticipation surrounding this years FIM International Six Days’ Enduro continues to grow with now less than three months to go before the 90th edition of this historic event is hosted in the city of Kosice, Sept. 7-12.

At a recent press conference, the organizers shared the latest information regarding their preparations, key news and on going plans on the lead up to the event itself, this is as follows:

This will be the first time that the ISDE has been held in Kosice, but is the fifth time the international competition will be played out on Slovakian soil. A total of 32 countries will be represented at this year’s ISDE, with just fewer than six hundred riders having been accepted in what was an oversubscribed entry process.

Among the many nations, the host country will be well represented with teams entered into the three main categories – World Trophy, Junior Trophy and Women’s Trophy. Stefan Svitko will have the honor of leading the World Trophy team for Slovakia. In addition, the hosts will also welcome no less than 12 club teams from the nation to take part in this year’s ISDE.

After 15 months of preparation the SC ENDURO Club and Slovakian Motorcycle Federation, recently welcomed the FIM TV crew for their pre-event inspection, who were also in attendance at the press conference. They got an opportunity to see first-hand the excellent facilities at the start / finish area and the paddock, plus an overview of the course in the wooded areas that are nearby to the shopping complex that will form the hub of the event.

Prior to the action itself getting underway on Sept. 7, the official opening ceremony will take place in the city. The six days of competition will be brought to a climax on Sept. 12 at the final motocross test.

A full schedule of events plus all the latest information and news regarding this year’s ISDE can be found on the official FIM website.
