"Hollywood Blonde moment"

So, there I was. Mindin' my biz walkin down the sidewalk in Boston last night when low and behold, a shiny grey KLX300 was parked on the street. Continuing my stroll, staring at it like "what are you...?" I saw the decals, then saw the front and went "OH! its got the same nose/headlight/upper as Ninjette! Sweet..."
...to which I turned headlong into a black metal streetpole, the gong-like toll echoing down the street. Quickly gathering myself, and checking for witnesses (none that I saw) I continued on, remembering that "look where you want to go" applies to more places than riding a motorcycle

There was a street-legal dual-sport KLX-300, 350, 400 or something like that at Hillbilly Motorsports in Princeton, WV but they told me that it was originally an off-road bike that they had modified and made street-legal and that there was no real KLX-whatever (there's a KLR-650 and a KLX-250). The stickers were custom too is seems.

Sorry mike, only a lump on my noggin below the hairline. I should upload the pictures of when my old miata went into an embankment at 35 sideways though. (RIP Lil' One) My head took out the passenger window, and as the glass shattered from that some of it got in front of the airbag as that went off. I couldve rivalled Bruce Campbell in "Badass" look after that...:P

That's nothing (sarcasm). Try having an airbag go off in your face while holding a magazine...

PAPERCUT-CITY (click to zoom)!

That's my twin brother in 2003. I'm sure his hand is what bruised his eye. Anyway, I was driving him to work that day. A pregnant girl leaving her job at a gas station didn't see us traveling in the lane beside a truck and trailing it by a few car's lengths. Imagine my surprise when she suddenly appears, clears the other lane/truck, and then stops in front of me in my lane of travel.

T-boned.

Luckily, I was coming from a stop light/turn so it wasn't very high-speed. Her door was crushed in and both cars were totaled but no one would have been scratched if it weren't for that freakin' air bag going off. Oh well. I'd rather have it go off when not needed than not go off when you need it.

Ouch dude. About the same, minus the shut-eye. Much more facial abrasions though, semi-agreed on the airbags.
HATE VW's airbags though. had one go off on me on a 10mph impact on sheet ice in my buddys driveway and stopping on an oak tree. enough to knock the grill off, which wasnt much, but the godforsaken airbag popped on both sides, totalling the car.
