Visor / Face Shield cleaning and repair..Any ever use a heat gun?
While brushing up my de-mining skills, I came across this interesting article on how to fix or repair scratches with a heat gun. Has anyone ever tried this or have any suggestions?
http://maic.jmu.edu/journal/10.2/r&d/heafitz/heafitz.htm The DC/NOVA area is a complete disaster when it comes to road repair and I'm constantly getting hit by stuff...big stuff. Tear offs only go so far. I have chunks missing out of my Arai Q2 that would give you chills.

Some shields have multiple layers and I wonder how this would affect them.
