Woodcraft Clip ons
Good day everybody!
I am VERY interested in investing in woodcraft clip ons for my 2011 ninjette, in hopes of improving the overall handling of the bike while simultaneously improving the body position/ergonomics of it (for looks mainly). I'm only 5ft 9 and I am still in an upright position and hope that clip ons would give a more sporty look There aren't that many resources online showing the body positioning after they have been installed, so I was just wondering, if anyone has had clip on's installed (preferably woodcraft), would like to share their photos with me? Honestly, I would really appreciate it! Also, if anyone wants to explain their experience riding with clip ons compared to stock, I would love to hear it! Hope you guys have a great day and stay safe!! |

(Issues with my own search, and account, look at post below this one)
Not WOODCRAFT. NOR , any other typical "clip-on". I am REALLY HAPPY with these. (Trying not to be long winded) typical "clip-on" handlebars, mount either above, or below the triple-clamp, and "pinch" ONLY the fork tube. My issues with the 3 or 4 I have tried. . Mounted below triple clamp, are way to low, and hit stuff, unless you want to cut bodywork, or have fingers smashed. .Mounted above triple clamp... hits stuff, and are BARELY pinched onto fork tubes. . Safety wise, if the bolts loosen, you have zero control of the forks, as clip-ons rotate around fork tubes. The one I got, off of Amazon, bolt/mount, like stock. ( to the triple tree, and NOT to the fork tubes) but they are fly cut, in bolting area, to allow "sweep" to your liking, yet downward angled, enough to "lower" riding position by over a half inch. . Safety wise, even if the mounting bolts loosen, they still are attached to triple tree, so you have control. . Since they don't pinch fork tubes, you can raise or lower front end as, as you like. ( there are DRAWBACKS , as the higher you raise fork tubes through the triple clamp, the less fork travel, you have to play with during hard braking. . Used reasonably, I will recomend this style... if I can only find my prior post, or link... |

They are called " fullibars" copy and paste( below) into Amazon, they should pull up. If not, let me know. These bars are beautiful, cheap, and do the job, no one else has!
CNC Aluminum Φ 37MM Clip ons Handlebar replacement Fit for Kawasaki Ninja 250R 2008-2012 Ninja 300 EX300 2013-2018,bars Φ 7/8",37 mm Clip on Assembly Black Note*** if I remember correctly, the left side grip is slightly loose, use either grip glue, or use a little electrical tape to wrap the bar, then add grip glue. I have had ZERO issues with these bars, and happily recommend them. |

I have Woodcraft Clips on my 250 and I am very happy with it. It's definitely a must if you are an avid track rider or aggressive rider. It changes the feel of the bike's steering and makes it a little more aggressive. It only makes sense to pair it with aftermarket rear sets or adapters to raise and move back the stock rear set. The Woodcraft setup will not make the 250R super aggressive like the R6 but enough to make it a little more aggressive. It will still be comfortable for everyday.
You will get that sporty look and feel you desire but don't forget preload adjusters for the forks. I'll see if I could find pictures or take a look at my profile to get an idea.
