Adjust clutch lever friction zone towards the bar
Any way of adjusting the friction zone further in towards the lever? I had the bike serviced at a new place yesterday & they moved the biting point out by about 1/2 inch or so.
If I adjust the cable closer to the lever on the bar end & further out at the clutch end will it bring the lever back in closer to the bar? I don't want to cause it to slip or bind, but I don't like its current position. (seriously considering pazzos if I cant fix it, but £75 (~$120) for a lever is a tad steep) |

Yes, adjusting the slack by making them looser can move the point of engagement closer to the bar, just be careful to still give it enough room to completely engage/disengage upon clutch lever manipulation of course.

Just get a set of adjustable levers from the2wheels. Easy, effective and inexpensive.

I'm a big fan of the levers from 2Wheels. Mine took about two weeks too.

When I ordered from them, it took a month to get to me, and it was short a lever. They said they sent the second lever, but it's been another 2 months and I've yet to see a second lever, and now they won't even return my emails. Just FYI.

Make sure you tighten all the bolts a tiny bit as they tend to be a tiny bit loose. Also be careful when putting on the clutch lever. More than a few have broken the pin on the safety switch under the lever.
