Cool

I try to keep my rides early in the morning on weekends, traffic in the evenings during the week are just too busy for spirited riding around the city.

TWO WHEEL TUESDAY w/Philadelphia Riders are always decent.
every Tuesday night at 6:00 PM to socialize with like minded riders, have dinner and a few drinks if you want. Rain or shine!

The Abbaye
637 North 3rd Street
(3rd and Fairmount)
Philadelphia, PA 19123

Difficult to avoid traffic around that time, but The Ride Home is usually entertaining on West River Drive to Manayunk, then Rt. 23 to Conchy..

Tim, you in for the Abbye Tuesday night?

Jae, want to meet up and ride in? Probably not hard to find, but I'm not exactly sure where that place is. If you've got a tankbag or want to stuff them in a pocket or something, I'll bring those sliders along.

Damn, I would be down for this but I messed up my back somehow over the weekend, I woke up on Sunday and could barely get out of bed haha, its a little better today but I don't see myself on a bike for a few more days which really pisses me off giving how nice the weather is suppose to be

I'll try to make it, I wouldn't get there till late though. I get done work at 6 and I'm not going to be able to ride to work because I have a job interview at another company during the afternoon and don't want to ride in a suit to it haha. Either way I will be around all weekend if anyone is interested in a nice weekend ride

Bald tire. Warped rear rotor. I'm in!
Ok now to a more serious question... After I get all these important "safety" issues dealt with what slip on should I get? I love the growler but it's just too damn loud for my neighborhood as I come in way too late sometimes. Looking to keep the $ under 300 any suggestions?

Jae, did you hit nick up for tomorrow?

I think nick was contacted.

My informal Dunkin Donuts parking lot test picks the mgp growler as the loudest possible exhaust

Have you considered a baffle-ectomy? I'm sure there's a tutorial on how to drill out the baffles. Doesn't really save any weight, but should increase your volume a bit.

ok, checked the map and we can take 95 down to columbus and exit. turn left on spring garden then rt on 3rd and we're there. piece of cake

we'll prob get there around 8 (i run late sometimes so i give extra time to allow for my tardiness)

nick is supposed to go climbing tomorrow, but hes in if that falls thru.

tim, if u want a slip on check the forum marketplace and ebay. u can get something decent. a full exhaust would give u more horsepower but then u need to rejet too.

this one looks and sounds nice. $250 new shipped from australia:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ninja-250R-0...item4cf8a0626e

def try not to spend too much on a slip on, cuz its essentially just a noisemaker. yea its lighter so less weight equals more speed, but for the price of some slip ons you can get a full racing exhaust

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
(im making growler noise to help sway you to the dark/loud side)

amd now my jedi mind trick:
"the growler is only 175 and you could always just ride thru ur neighborhood at low throttle... and these are not the droids ur looking for"

Was that an earthquake? No It was jae's growler.

Ill have to give it a listen again tonight and sell myself on how "quiet" it is. Do they sell a silencer for it? I notice some other slip ons have a removable silencer. If so Im sold.

Oh, Will those shorty levers fit the stock bars?

I'm just glad you got home safe. When I didn't see you behind me on 76, I doubled back to make sure you weren't down somewhere. I figured you took City Line, but I was worried for a few minutes.

The Art Museum thing was cool. I'm gonna do that some night with a good camera.
