I might be going to Brighton (in the Boston area) but I've never heard on Brightona. Is it near the beach?

It's the 'other' Brighton. The one on the south coast of the UK.

Brightona 2012

It was pretty cold this morning, but I decided to head to Brightona 2012 anyway. I'm glad that I did. It was a fun ride to the coast, and it seemed like there were hundreds of bikes all heading in the same direction. It was nice to outnumber the cars for a change. The event itself was great. I have no idea how many bikes were there ... but it had to be in the thousands. Unfortunately, I didn't see any 250R's. In fact I didn't see very many Ninja's and cruisers heavily outnumbered the sports bikes.

I took a few snaps.

Sounds like a MUCH smaller Brit version of Daytona Bike Week.

Bright = Day? Hmm...

I can't make it this year, but as a reminder for UK-based riders, it's Brightona this coming weekend - October 13. I went last year, and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the weather forecast isn't looking so good.
