I'm a complete noob when it comes to forums. Forgive me! I'm a female rider from Honolulu and I was referred here by KKIM. I ride a 2007 ninja 250. I also have a YouTube channel:

easiest way I've found is to click on the "unread posts" link in the upper right of the of each page and pick what's interesting to you to read.

You can also click the search function if you need information on something specific you're looking for.

thanks. it is because i am an ultrasound tech.... not because of the transformers. although, sound wave was my favorite character on that cartoon.

Hey 808 ... I just came across your post. Not sure if you still have your 2007 Ninja ... I just picked one up two days ago (silver with the red trim). Let me know how you like your ninja ... any idiosyncracies with the bike? I'm a newbie ... was wondering if the 2007 250r can handle the steep grades on the Like Like and Pali Highways? Can the bike manage on the H-1 and H-1 freeways. Would appreciate any information you might want to share about your 2007 250r. Mahalo!

So far I am loving the 250. I believe it's the 2007 EX, the 2008-2011 is referred to as the 250R, I think... I just had a convo with a guy who has a 600cc bike and is looking to go back to a 250 for the "fun" aspect of riding. I just did a vid where I took it up Tantalus and it was just fine

One is the marketing name, one is the model name. They are both EX250 and both 250R in our market. I refused to call it "Ninja" or "250R" when speaking to insurance agents.

You know, in case "Ninja" or "anything-R" = "FAST and DANGEROUS" in their mindset.
