Honger and I had some alone time on the track during the last race. My bike is so quiet he thought he was alone. If only he had let off a little for me….

I meant the Dmented racing orange.

Out of all of the bikes though Hong is definitely the prettiest.

Yeah I'm bummed I'm not rocking the colors. Wasn't meant to be with my bad luck. I can't swing the cash for a paint job right now when I have a perfectly good vinyl wrap on the bike right now.

Any thoughts toward having more riders on the same design? I'd like to see an expansion of the Dmented racing crew. I know Josh said to include EVERYONE. lol

Not in. As evidenced by my test scores and the bus that I took to school I like to be "special".

The Colorado boys already have the syndicate name they race under or I'd ask them.

I know some people can't join because they desperately want to be different…. by racing the same bike as everyone else…

The whole point of a team is to help each other out with fixing and tuning the bike, coaching each other, helping with getting to and from the event, etc. Secret handshakes and circle jerks are just part of the perks of the job.

That sounds strikingly similar to what we already do and have always done in the 250 pit. No official team required

The team stuff will be more significant when we travel to other tracks to beat up on the locals wherever we go. Having a team of matching bikes battling for the front will be cool and great for photos.

But if you guys really aren't into the idea, no worries. Just a thought. We're all considered the same lunatics in the paddock as it is. Would be cool to have a fleet of matching 250s to rival the AP Moto paddock. Looks cool to me.

Joel, whatever group you decide to ride I'll ride with you if you want. However I tend to ride in A Group though for the most part.

Most of us ride in A group for safety. Seriously.

I've seen some wild **** go down in B group. Lots of horsepower but not a lot of common sense with those riders. Going 5 wide through the bowl for no reason, gunning it way deep into turn 8 CW almost guaranteeing to wash out in crash mountain and take everyone with them. It's just dumb.

You may be really slow in A group, because 250, but as long as your lines are super clean and you ride responsibly you'll be fine. I always run A because people are USUALLY more predictable. I was recently caught out in November by someone giving me a brake check exiting #11, but that was the first time I'd ever had a problem.

Weeeee! What's wild about this image is Matt Cavarlez is in this shot directly behind me but so close you can't se anything unless you notice there's an extra bump to my helmet and a tiny bit of his arm above my right. lol

Shane wasn't that the trackday with Southbay? If it was the A Group riders tend to be a lot slower than usual. I tend to ride with a little more caution in that A Group with Southbay since most of the attendees are not your regulars you see often.

Plus, we (CVMA racers) were THE fast guys in the A Group.

Cool, already pulled the trigger on A, its been a few months away from the bike, and you guys all got faster while I was gone, so gotta play some serious catchup. Just gotta remember to not drink myself outta Sunday's races. . . Looking forward to some fun, 3 weeks seems like a long time. . . .
Cheers,

LOL, reminds of the last trackday with Southbay Motorsports. Sofia, Joel, Mark, Nitto Jr., Martin, and I were sooooo hammered and belligerent. We didn't fall asleep until close to 4am. I remember waking up still pretty drunk and Martin having a massive hangover.

That trackday was awesome...good times.

Yep, most of us can ride with injuries, but don't ask us to ride so hungover we want to puke in our helmets.

Works for Fogle, though. Weird.

Lol yeah, the So. Bay TD I brought 4 bottles of mix and a 1.75 bottle of Cuervo. The next morning, I had 3 bottles of mix left. . . .

A little hung = in a zone where I ignore distractions, a lot hung and I'm seeing furry elephants running across the track. . . no bueno. I'll try to moderate next round. ..

Plus, we (CVMA racers) were THE fast guys in the A Group.

Yeah some douche on a bike that had WSMC decals on the sides riding an older 636. He'd motor me in the straights but park in the corners so I'd ride right around. He insisted on going low in the bowl, I was passing but the pass would have been tight for a track day so I filed in behind him and planned to pass exiting #11 on the straight. Well everything went fine and we're both on the gas exiting #11 when suddenly he brakes. I hit his back tire so fast I didn't' even make it to the front brake lever before I was down and my SV was tumbling.

I had a similar crash, guy panicked and checked up on me. Hit his swing arm so hard it broke the rear break caliper mounting off. That hurt, bike tumbled, worst part was I was on a loaner bike
