Paint Color Poll

Getting ready to purchase another 250R. It is an 08, and is currently passion red. I am looking to paint the bike during the off season and was shopping around for prices. The choice of color will make up the final cost. I am pro white bikes but my daughter want's daddy to have a green bike since green is her favorite she tells me. She is 7 and is pretty much the boss. Just wanted to get your guys and gals thoughts on color choices. If white is chosen I will have to attempt to talk her out of the green since I want the bike to be white. Candy and Toys should do the trick.

White. Those are pretty.

But I vote Kawi Green. It's a Kawasaki. Make it the color that made the company famous

By the way I will not be putting decals on the bike except on the rear tail. Either a ZX-2R or 250R on the tail. No Kawasaki on the tank or Ninja on the side. Maybe a Ninja on the side

Mine is CLG and I get constant compliments on the color. CLG is also more visible (in he middle of the color spectrum). White is the most visible unless it is overcast or you ride in snow (ouch). So my vote is CLG all the way.

So far Pearl White is out in front. I need to see Candy Lime Green on a 250 before I make the final decision. I have already seen the Pearl White

Yeah I like the plain white without all the stickers and decals. I am going to do the Ninja on the side but it will not be a sticker or decal. I am getting the 3d emblems from a 2012 zx-14r and either painting them black or having them powdercoated black. They will pop much more than stickers. I am also looking into having 3d emblems done for the tail fairing, either ZX-2R or 250R with the ZX-2 or the 250 black and the R red. Should look pretty sweet and give the bike a little more pop. The front fender will be carbon fiber as well as the side panels and GSX-R style rear hugger (Fender portion only.) I was also thinking about doing the upper cowl inner panels in carbon as well and painting the gauge face plate black or try to find one in carbon. I can have my parts hydrocoated in carbon and save a lot of money.

Meant something along the lines of this but with more white, no black and your green.

I've always hated logos and stickers so I would never suggest adding them to a bike. I really thing it really lowers the appeal of a bike and detracts from what the design team started out with before buckling to corporate.

That looks pretty good but I dont like green on white or white on green. Have you seen the new badges, they are not logos or stickers.

Here ya go

I will only do the front Ninja badge and have a ZX-2R or 250R made for the tail in the colors stated above.

Yeah, the raised stickers do look a lot better.

I am adamantly against any logos or badges on any vehicle. But to each his own, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, etc.

Black is a good color if you race because no one will see you. On the street, green & red are good colors if you want to be seen. Although now days, perhaps you should paint your bike to look like a cell phone, then you will really be noticed.
