Spotting - Ninja Sightings

I feel weird posting this in the General Section, but Alex suggested it in another thread, so here it goes

Spotting was on Griffin Road, 1/4 mile east of 441 in Dania, Florida.

It was quick, but last night I saw what appeared to be two 250r's ride by, and I believe I saw the same two bikes last week, but my memory is shot.

They were riding together...
First was obviously an 09 because it was the SE green/white/black edition.
Second was an 08 or 09 Red 250r (from what I saw).

The green one 100% a 250r, hard to mistake the SE. The red one I'm not 100% on, though the seat cowl made me pretty sure.

Just wondering if by chance it's anyone here and Alex suggested posting spottings, so

I've seen about 3 new gens and 5 pregens in my town in various places. A red pregen rider works at Burger King. I feel a strange camaraderie with the person even though I've never met them. Just a quick question, would it be appropriate to recommend this site to a rider I've never met before just because they have a ninjette?

well, I'd consider it not appropriate if you recommended this site to them and they didn't have a 250 ninja.

I'm thinking about putting a little card with www.ninjette.org on the seat or tank of the other bikes around here, but at the same time, I don't want them to think that I'm some weirdo going around and messing with their bikes... but when all the kids are in town, we have 6 or 7 of them now....

I have been thinking of doing the same thing. I think it would be great advertisement for the forum.

Someone should design a vinyl sticker for the website. I would but I have no artistic bone in my body. It would be a great advertisement for the site. Personally i'd put it on my bike.

Someone actually already suggested this and several people said it would be ok with them (including me). Any word guys on the progress of this idea?

Saw a red pregen with a military rider in full camo. I liked to see it, but he was wearing that instead of gear. Is that stuff anti-abrasion? Whatever the case, he wasn't wearing a helmet.

If he's in the military then he's violating regulations. All of the services require that a helmet to be worn when riding a motorcycle, regardless of what the local laws are. That's one of the ways they protect their investment in training.

I'm fairly certain he'd be in trouble then. That's how people are around here I'm sorry to say. They all think they're invincible, so they ride around without the helmet that's strapped to the tail of their motorcycle actually on their head!!! Oh well.

????? I'm not sure about this one... I think I saw a green ZZR250 about 15 minutes ago. Did they ever come in that color or was that a 650?

I could give it a try. I have no idea how to design for vinyl though, or what size would fit where on the bike.

I think it was decided that it should be fairly small. I'm not completely sure though... I'll check into some things and see what we can do.

I always drive through the shopping center in my town and see a silver or white stuntbike, maybe an older zx6r, parked right in front of Kohls. I figure the owner of the bike works there since I always see it.

A few days ago I drive past and notice in the same spot, a brand spankin new 08-09 black 250!

I gotta hunt em down to ask how much they payed OTD for it.

We do that with our focus forum (focaljet.com). We have these cards that have information about the forum on them, and we put them on modified foci or svt foci etc. We call it pimpin' the 'jet haha. Maybe we need a design contest for that as well
