Sorry to hear about all the troubles but after all that it can only get better

Sometime we just need to go and a nice chill ride through some uncrowded roads to clear our heads. Riding can be like a shot of happiness, you may feel like crap as you toss your leg over the bike but as you roll out the driveway all your troubles seem to fade away for those couple hours

By the way how'd you stress fracture your legs? Are you a runner?

Very true! My BF always says its hard to cry on a motorcycle. Hopefully your legs heal fast Daks and the bike will help heal the rest.

I decided to ride out to my parents house (maybe 35 minutes into the next county) to work from there this morning. I'll find some twisty's for the ride back home.

I haven't ridden that much interstate at once before, so it was my first time to ride for 25+ minutes solid at 9k-10k rpm. Besides a few little crosswinds, everything was as smooth as I could hope for.

And it's amazing how much cooler the air is when you leave a major city.

Truth. I find this is the case on both the bike and in my car... I love to just drive to drive (people, in general, don't do that much anymore)... And I recently found that riding the bike while listening to the TRON: Legacy soundtrack is pretty epic...

I rode this morning listening to some random Daft Punk.

I'll try letting the Tron soundtrack play through on the way home.

Yeah, any Daft Punk really works! Something about the Tron soundtrack just feels right though... Just calming and mellow...

No, I do a lot of physical work at my job, though and I think a weekend of moving heavy boxes from a truck bed did them in.

Feel better now. Legs and otherwise. I got to ride to work today so that helped. It's also rough because my ex was the person I talked to about motorcycles and him and his friends were my only real riding buddies. Dx
Now I gotta wait for it not to be a problem to be friends again.

Hey there's so many of us east bay riders, Cam and I are always out there riding but can never seem to get anyone else to join us. You just need to expand your riding buddy horizons

I'm not exactly fun and exciting to ride with. Last time I tried I ended up in a ditch next to my bike. Dx

I might go out with someone from barf this weekend. I'm wary about riding with people. I need to know it won't get competitive or pushy, you know? I can tear 680 between here and dublin right the **** up but put me on anything with corners and I'm a grandma.

However this morning Sleeping through rain > Riding through rain. Especially when working from home, so I don't have to be up early.

I'm old and am not a morning person... LOL! It's half the reason I only commute with the bike a few days a week (I feel like I should be relatively alert when riding)...

I have the same problem with my Mustang group... They always want to go to car shows and cruises super early too... I think they're crazy...

The best rides are the ones that you have to get up at 6:00 or 7:00 and watch the sun rise

I got my CRG R/C Spectrum brake and clutch levers installed and my Yoshimura FE Kit installed. The friction zone is a lot better for me with these, now that I can adjust them accordingly.

adjusted tank bag straps, adjusted throttle play, lubed chain with chain wax using rear stand, and tinkered with plastidip on the front to see what it would look like without the green teeth under the headlights
