The Avintia rider put his FTR Honda ahead of a flotilla of KTMs, Danny Kent ending seven hundredths ahead of Sandro Cortese, the German just edging Luis Salom on the Kalex KTM, the RW Racing rider just three thousandths off the pace of Cortese.
