I think it was the girl in the fur boots. After the officer picks up the helmet you can see her with what seems to be a douchey, wigger looking guy in the background on the sidewalk.

May it be that her radio was on and she didn't hear you coming?

Riding along parked vehicles is one of the most dangerous situations for street riding: it can be an opening door, pedestrians crossing between vehicles, what actually happened, etc.

Slowing down and keeping the front brake covered is the only safe approach in those conditions.

It is very painful to watch your leg break

Man i get the whole defensive riding thing and i try to be as safe as possible... but for real dont make excuses for this bitch? There is never ever ever a reason that a driver should be not looking, ESPECIALLY when your going to try to u turn on a small residential road, she didnt even glance of her shoulder, maybe she checked her mirror before pulling away from the curb but as soon as you turn a little bit that mirror isnt showing anything behind you and sean was right there when she pulled out if she checked her mirror she would have seen him. This chick didnt even think to look before she pulled out and was probably ****ing with her phone or the radio or somthing. Come on man dont make excuses for idiot drivers who cant take a second to turn there head and look.

Sean, im sorry this happened to you man, not much you could have done to avoid her. You seem to be takin it like a champ though. Get well soon my dude!

That's very similar to the move that took out my scoot, except in my case she didn't move until my front wheel was nearly parallel with her bumper. So, instead of me impacting the side of her car, she put her front left corner into my rear wheel.

Also, you're right: tensing up breaks bones. My falling training saved me a lot of pain.

Plenty, I actually had just shot up some heroin and when they put me in the ambulance they gave me more heroin which caused me to OD and I died for about 15 mins, no biggie tho

Well you can hear me breathing pretty hard until I kinda settled down. I knew my leg was broken from the moment I looked at it, I put my hands on it and tried to move it and it felt like jello, really painful jello. She had a 100k policy, if I didn't have health insurance or uninsured/underinsured I would be majorly screwed and probably owe the hospital money. My health insurance is swooping in on half my settlement which leaves me about 32k which IMO, is not nearly enough to cover what I've been through, what I'm currently going through, and the many more months that I still have to go through.

Nah its the super skinny **** with black hair. In the video you do hear her first say are you ok but I didn't hear that when I was on the ground. All I heard her say was did you just not see me? When she said that I was so filled with rage that the flurry of insults I would have thrown at her would have made her cry. However, I was in a situation where I needed help and I figured it would be best if the only person that knew I was in an accident wasn't crying. I would have been able to walk up to her and punch her in the face if I didn't tense up my left leg or if I had taken my left leg off the peg like I did with my right.
