Look at icon over pants instead of the fly cool pros... The icons will hold up better if something happens

You already know that fox jacket isn't street ins gear

Look at bell or bilt helmets if you don't wanna step up to scorpions or HJC... I don't know that I would trust my head in that helmet.

Better gear starts you off with more confidence, if you are confident in it though it will serve you well. You are on the right track, I'd rather be warmer if it means extra protection!

Helmet: Bell - Arrow Helmet

Jacket: Vega - Momentum Sport Jacket

Boots: Joe Rocket - Ballistic Touring Boots

Gloves (Warm): Icon - Twenty Niner Gloves

Pants: Joe Rocket Phoenix 3.0 (Have to get this one for it is the best deal bc my brother is selling his)

What do you guys think I don't have much money and this does not look like that bad of gear for my warm state

I've asked before and didn't get a straight answer. I think you need to have a bunch of posts before you can.

Yes indeed, I do not have road rage really well maybe in my head for like 2 sec but if you are thinking about how mad you are you lose focus on the road and if you express how mad you are in your driving you take big risk. I usually just go the speed limit or a little behind the flow of traffic I have no care for speeding. Hope I can get my license soon so I can go look at gear and get to the MSF class

Here is a little update:

I got my drives license a good 2 months ago, always watching for bikes and I also got a job getting paid about 218 every 2 weeks working 3 days a week after school.

I signed up for the Motorcycle Safety Course for May 30 - June 1 hosted by the LA State Police.

After that I got a helmet and will buy my brothers old gear once he gets leave to come home. Icon mesh jacket and Joe Rocket Phx v3 and some gloves.

I plan to get a ninja 250 in about four months depending on the money I bring in, wish me luck

Congratulations on the new job. Glad to see you are getting safety training and gear before going out and riding.

I discovered black mesh gear gets hot as soon as you stop. For that reason, my mesh jacket and pants are white, and I can tell the difference. It shows dirt real quick, but is best for the Louisiana heat!

Thanks for all the encouragement, I'm not sure what color it is, but I have to wait to buy it. Maybe we can go on a ride together one day!

Welcome! I am also pretty small. I'm 5'6" and very small frame, to put it in perspective, I bought a small riding jacket and I swim in it! LOL But there are a lot of smaller people who love bikes and so there are a lot of stuff made for us. I have the 250 but the 300 is awesome-looking. For me, personally, I'd spend the extra money on gear because the 50 extra ccs aren't a make or break for me, but that is just me.

Whatever decision you make will be the right one because all these bikes are great and I hope you enjoy it

Thank you! And yes I currently have my gear and also plan on getting a Ninja 250 once the funds come in. Should be a GREAT time when that day comes
