So today Lonewolf05 and I did a few things to my bike...

We changed the oil
I adjusted the height of the shifter
oh and we replaced the front cowl and painted the bike

I got a couple scratches taking the front cowl over to his house

So we got NEKKID!

The new cowl next to the old one with its... temporary fix.

The old cowl was actually in 2 pieces as we found out when we unbolted the headlight

I tried on the new cowl because honestly I was hoping it would look great and we could be done!

That didn't work to well so we got started doing actual work. We decided since the headlight needs to be replaced anyway we decided their is no point looking at it.

So I scuffed it up

Taped it off

And painted it!

All done with the headlight!

Then we had to do the same with the plastics

So i scuffed them up

And Darrell sprayed them

and when they had 4 coats of black, and 2 coats of clear they dried and were mounted!

Then we just had to do the front
So we put it on our "Painting Chair"

And soon enough we were done and mounted! I don't know if you guys can see it in the pictures but it actually started raining as we were finishing the cowl So it was an interesting ordeal.

So now that we were finished, and the rain was all clear (clear enough to make the drive home to my wife who had been home for an hour when I was supposed to be home first ) we took some quick pictures (for you guys) and I was off!

When we have some free time were gonna paint (or possibly use a vinyl sticker) to cover this part in black as well;

Bahahaha

As a side note, why not paint that whole mid section of the side fairing? It would then look pretty much just like the red/black tribal special edition with the decals removed. Just a thought.

honestly because its a pain in the ass to only do part of a panel. if i was going to repaint that whole panel it wouldnt be a problem.

Oh, if I remember correctly I think someone had pointed out in another thread that the red/black special edition is basically just a red body with a big black vinyl over it as well. So I guess Kawasaki also believes it's a pita.

Well... Okay, but only because that is the first time I have ever heard (in this case read) someone use "enigmatic" in a correct manner

Integrated tail light, flush mount turn signals, 5 meters of LED's, and a double bubble windshield...

and my No-Cut Diode Mod Kit is already here

Well iirc its just red and blue, and if I do underglow it will be on a switch.

I know I want to do turn signals in the very front under the headlight, and two strips on the undertail. Other than that I'm not sure, but with as much as I got I can play around
