Officially a ZX6R rider now.

Finally after 2 extra months of waiting (had surgery at the end of March) I picked up my new 2012 ZX6R yesterday.

Baby is her name....

The sound, the power and handling are absolutely amazing. Other than ergonomics I find this bike easier to ride than my Ninja 250 for me. I am sore today but since it is my first day riding after 5.5 months it isn't too bad. Now low speed manoeuvres in parking lots and parking spots are a little more difficult but I am sure that will pass.

After riding my 6r for 2 months (wow it's only been 2 months) the 250's seating position feels really odd to me now. I'm sure it'll happen to you too.

The $4,000 difference is the big reason plus I prefer the look of the 09-12s. I liked the 2013s when they first came out but lost interest as they look very similar to the 300s.

Sweet bike, that year/color would be my choice of ZX-6R right now, I think they even have leftovers here at our dealer. Man everyone is getting ZX-6Rs... *looks at my honda* whatever!

One of my favourite bikes is the F4i for looks, in yellow. I almost bought a 2006 but could not handle the banana seat, prefer the looks of earlier ones. I know I could have replaced it but too much work for me. When people ask me how I like the new bike I don't even have to say anything, the huge ear to ear evil grin says it all. I can see why everyone is jumping up.

LOL, thanks Jiggles, I'll keep that in mind when they do drop. As for a track day, maybe next year if there are some open track days.

Got mine from Two Wheel Motorsports in Guelph, much cheaper than the 2013s.
