Respect: Nicky Hayden & Valentino Rossi

I just felt that this was great. Nicky gave Vale a ride after he had crashed on top of the corkscrew.

One thing is for sure I wouldn't let Stoner ride with me...after I heard Stoner during the qualifying, I officially hate him ha! He said the the CRT riders got in his way on the his last lap during qualifying. Alright cool, makes sense. Then he said that only professionals should be allowed to race in MotoGP. As far as I know, everyone there is professional!

...and to think I was wondering about why people would call him "Stacy Moaner"

Seriously though...I remember last year when he said that Rossi's ambitions outweighed his talent...how about when in the last lap some rounds ago...when Moaner lowsided because he was trying to get past Pedrosa!?

It's understandable that he would be upset about the CRT bikes. They are quite clearly not on pace with the prototype factory bikes and when you're hauling ass trying to get that all important pole position and then you get stuffed by a CRT rider simply because the bike is so poor that they can't help it. It's frustrating.

The CRT bikes are basically bullshit that need to be taken off the grid.

That having been said. GO ROSSI

Its one thing to have a bike that has no business being on the track at the pace being run, its another to have a rider not respond to the blue flag while riding the bike. I have seen both be an issue for the factory riders this season.

I can't really blame the CRT riders, they are just trying to do their jobs. Really it is no different than a GT driver getting in the way of a Prototype driver in the Rolex series or similar. They get pretty upset when that happens as well.

I just think it was very unprofessional to say they're not professional. Some of them could be up there with them if they had factory bikes.

I wouldn't say that. I love Collin Edwards, but I don't think he could hang w/ the Aliens or even Rossi / Hayden.

Totally bad on Stoner though. It's really not the crt rider's faults. They shouldn't even be out there on those slower paced bikes imo

We have no real way of knowing where they would stand. IMO the sport is more interesting with them involved, rather than empty polls etc.

At the end of some races all marshals wave the flags (in celebration)...so if we were in Spain...they'd be waving the Spanish flag as well as the green, yellow etc. The race was over and Nicky was coming back to the pits.

I can't tell if you guys are serious or not. They're MotoGP riders. The only place you'll get there gear is custom order. Plus they usually use suits with airbag systems in it. Add another $3000 to the cost of the suit. The helmet was a specially made to be used in only the Laguna Seca race.

They are designed to deflate within a few seconds so the rider can remount a crashed but still rideable bike during a race. One of the systems has two charges so it can deploy again as well.

If you go to either of the us rounds they have the riders suits on display in the vendor areas, and yes they are retarded nice. The airbag suits are also like 4k and that is with recent price drop of 50%

Alex is completely right. The suit has a gyroscope (i think that's the instrument they use) that detects a high side. So...if someone saw Spies high side during qualify...it explodes when it detects you flying threw the air lol then, if bike is okay...you can go again...and if you unfortunately high side AGAIN...it can deploy the second system. They didn't include a third system by then, because your bike will be trashed... here's a link! It shows when the suits inflates with pictures of a high side from Lorenzo..

Also, sorry for the double post...but you can get a Alpinestars Air Tech suit for $2899,99. It's airbag system is exactly the same as the MotoGP version. So, no. The airbag system is not that expensive ^ (4k).

It may have come down in price some more but here is the information source I relayed, showing over $4k and the nearly 50% price decrease.

The $2899 suit I believe you are referencing can be equipped with the airbag as a retrofit....
