Y u no faster ninja!?!?

Did a few 0-60 runs on my bone stock 250. It feels noticeably slower especially in the top end compared to my dead one. Unfortunately I accidentally deleted the second gopro save that had some more runs so were stuck with just this one. I'll do some more tomorrow, my fastest time on my old bike was 6.36 seconds, I'm not doing so well on this one

Link to original page on YouTube.

Adjusted the shifter and took some more vids also 2 guys tried to kill me but my Jiglets are ever vigilant

Link to original page on YouTube.

The bike has a serious flat lining problem in the upper revs its like, where'd all the power go? Totally different beast compared to when my bike with the Area P can. And remember this bike is 100% stock, no jetting, no intake mods, absolutely nothing. I see now where they got those ****** ****** 0-60 times for the newgens. If I had perfect launches, maybe, MAYBE I could get up to 7.50 seconds

Obviously if you don't balance out the cup holder with a monster energy sticker you're going to see serious loss in power.

Obviously the hulking water bottle is causing you some drag. Also try farting in first gear, it may give you a little extra push.

Helium in the tires!!!

LoneRonin, its faster to shift at like 12.5k or 13k. That puts you right in the power band in the next gear. Shifting at redline puts you on the way out of the power band in the next gear.

This is a clip from that same day. I've noticed that even through my favorite routes I'm going slower than I used to. I'm not sure if its because my confidence isn't back up to what it used to be or if I simply do not want to take the risk. I go a lot slower through blind curves and really don't even lean quite as much. Normally when what happened in the video would happen I'd take the same pace as the guy and meet up with them later.

Also, I know you can't hear it in the video but this guys pipe was super loud. I didn't hear him until he was right next to me and when I was able to hear him it was so loud and quick that it actually startled me and I jumped in my seat. Loud pipes don't save lives, they are just ****ing annoying

@alex.s post a video of proper launchin please cause im scared to dump the clutch :\

i usually rev it to like 7k and let it out slow and once i feel the slightest movement i dump it but then my rpms go down to like 4k and basically would have been better off just doing a regular take off

Is you 2fiddy 100% stock? If you look at a dyno for the bike at about 10.5k rpms is the peak and then the hp starts dropping. With a jet kit and exhaust it will pull hard up to 12.

And I can do that on the 1000 but it requires alot more effort, hence less flickable

Rev it as high as it goes at wot and use the clutch to modulate. Dropping the clutch will loop your bike if it's reved up at wot

Here's how to time yourself. Open up windows movie maker and load the video. Use the frame by frame arrows to get to the point that your run starts and hit split to split the video. Then use the frame by frame arrows to get to the point where the needle hits 60 and hit split again. Mouse over the split video clip and it will tell you the length

Also what mods are on your bike?
