My Ride Report
Well, it was just a quick ride as I had already spent most of the day working on my car, but it was a glorious sunny day with a high of almost 70 degrees so I went out and hit my favorite local backroads for about an hour this afternoon. I'm fortunate in that one of the best motorcycle roads around here (that's really not sayin' much, though) is 5 minutes from my house. I saw and waved at quite a few other riders who were out doing the same thing as me.
Sorry, no pictures. I just wanted to rub it in since most of the continent is covered in ice right now.

Kevin, ever been to Brooksville and that area? Some really neat roads there for riding, and a nice little "downtown" area too. My dad lives in Hernando, and when I went to visit him over July 4th weekend, we first met up with another rider that lives in Spring Hill, and he took us all around the twisties in Brooksville, then to an outdoor biker bar to eat. It was great.

Saw a guy on the road in RI today. 17 degrees, the other problem is the highway might be great conditions then the parking lot, side road, etc are icy. Looked like fun to be on the bike, but would probably regret it 10 minutes into the ride.

There are some great twisties around there. That's my next destination on the bike, as soon as I get a good weather weekend with nothing else to do.
