Yea I went last year... Mostly dealers trying to sell u bikes. But better than nothing in middle of winter for sure. I am going Friday evening most likely... I was looking fwd to sitting on the cbr600 actually. If u guys wanna meet up could be nice.

I went this afternoon also after all...

I was disappointed you? There really wasn't much. Only bike I sat on was the CBR600 because that was the only 600cc of the whole show. 19$ with parking.

I hear montreal show much better.

Hi Alex,

I actually ended up going on the Sunday for a few hours, and I would definitely agree with you, it was a huge disappointment!

Like you, I got dinged with the $7 parking fee in addition to the $12 entrance fee, and the parking was a pretty shameless money grab.

The show was probably 75% Harley Davidson, 15% dirt bike, and about 10% sport bike which was the biggest disappointment for me. I have absolutely no interest in Harley Davidson bikes, and that left me with very little to look at.

The booths also reflected the above ratios with most of the booths selling things like giant leather saddles, leather HD jackets, cowboy boots, and those half-head helmets meant for people with half a brain.

Highlights were:

- Seeing and sitting on the KTM RC8 (an absolutely stunning bike)
- Seeing and sitting on the MV Agusta F4 (again, very nice, but a little over the top)
- Seeing the various 2012 600cc sport bikes from Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki
- Some of the vintage bikes were pretty cool - especially the vintage ice racer.
- Most of the folks at the booths were friendly and easy going with the bikes on display.

Low points were:

- Absolutely no sport bike gear (no helmets, gloves, accessories etc...)
- Very few actual sport bikes
- A relatively small show overall, you could see everything within an hour
- Excessive entry and parking fee for less than an hour of entertainment

Needless to say, I won't be going back next year.

Lindsay, it was great riding with you! Best of success in your schooling. I'm very thankful for my chiropactor (I got into a sledding accident years ago and did some damage to my knee).

Nice! I've really had my eyes on the new 2012 Ninja 650's. Big thing for me is the cheaper insurance. But it doesn't come in blue : (

wooah dont hate on langton, my family is all from port rowan, thats alot smaller than langton. norfolk county is my favourite place to be, ill be riding out to port rowan for easter but that will be spent with family so i dont think i can meet up with you. im part of the jake reimer family, figure you might know us

im not hating on langton i love it here no noisey neighboughs or anything like that an ive been living in this area my whole life and it prolly wont change it just sucks that there is no timmies close.
and yeah i dont think ill be able to go out easter week/end anyway i got a bunch of stuff 2 do that week 2 and i wouldent ask you to leave your family just to have a ride with some one you just met. but next time your down maybe we can.
