Also, WELCOME @Percious!

If you can make it, come through this weekend for a tech day (assuming we are doing that) and group ride after. Does anyone have or know of a place to work on the bikes? I normally do all my work on my street/sidewalk, but if anyone has something or somewhere better, lets do it there.

I say we start early to get things done quickly. This will be a meet and greet/tech day with a group ride after. Ride destination depends on where we actually have the tech day. Mostly likely to somewhere we can get something to eat/drink or a loop around the city. This will be a slow beginners ride pace.

So far it's:

Percy, Thanks a bunch!

Until I hear back from a few others on this thread, some who I have PM'ed and others not on this forum, I think I will wait before finalizing a place to work and final group ride route and destination.

But things are starting to look really good for this weekend. Now, only if someone can stop being a f***ing C**T and stop knocking by bike over.

I've spent so much on repairs that I have not been the cause of.

What do you guys want to do after the tech day? If any guys have some place in particular, or route, please lets us all know. I'm not picky about anything.

Also, state what time you guys want to be back and what not.

I also have stands, my front can hold at the triple as well. back is spool and swingarm.

Hey I have a right hand bar - I'll give it to you next time I see you.

Let me know about this weekend. I need to pull my fairing off and fix the hole somehow. I'll probably need to do another tech day in a few weeks as well...I have flushmounts, rear brake light, rear indicators, and a SS brake line on order that should all be arriving soon.

Thanks Dan!

You guys are great for offering a hand with the bars! @rPanda @Percious

So far, we have 2 spots for tech day. @eddiekay is kind enough to let us use the space in and our of his poorly lit garage and Percious as well.

Although Eddie is further then all of us, I think we should have the tech day there. A few reasons:
  • It'll be a group ride just to get there!
  • We can probably find some nice roads near him, plus he knows literally all good roads everywhere too! Good Resource to start the warm season
  • He has the tools needed to do at least all of my work! lol
  • Have yet to see the old man in like 4-5 months!
  • Group Ride back to the city to get something to munch on or whatever.

All you have to do is bring the tools needed to work on that specific part of the bike. And some money. Who doesn't eat pizza while working on the bike? lol

I have a torque wrench, chain lube (i think....), wd40, liquid tape and some Loktite Plastic Epoxy that I'm bringing. Maybe some fiberglass if I go to home depot. This will be a light tech day. NO OIL/TIRE CHANGES PLEASE. We'll save that for a little later. This would be a good time to install some usb power to the bike. I'll be epoxing my fairings (quickly), change one turn signal (quickly), replacing chain and sprockets and maybe I'll replace a/the handlebars.

Shouldn't be more than 2-3 hours for everything. Then we can ride until everyone gets cold

chance of rain on Saturday. Sunny on sunday. I really do not care about how "cold" it is. I ride everyday unless there is snow below freezing temps.

Let's plan on Saturday for now. As we get closer we can make changes.

So the Plan:

Meetup in Brooklyn? Off of the highway, depending on where you are coming from. Eddie lives on LI.

I live on Broadway & Lewis Ave in Brooklyn and Dan as met up with me before. He can meet me again and than we can ride to another spot, unless you guys want to meet up here as well.

It's only 4 of us so far.

I chose Saturday for 1 reason:

Mother Nature is tricky.

It's 50% chance right now. Tomorrow it could be 30%. If we plan it for Sunday, and it happens to rain on sunday, we have to move the ride/tech day to another weekend. If it does rain on saturday, we can just move it to Sunday.

And if it doesn't rain on Saturday, WE'RE GOLDEN. Folks can ride on BOTH DAYS!

Our backup would be the garage in the BX if anything.

Dan, Time sounds perfect. Meetup at 8:45ish.

KSU at 9:15.

We are riding on Saturday until further notice (Mother Nature).

Most likely, we are going to LI, Eddiekays place, pending his availability. If not we are going to the Bronx, Percious' place.

If we are going to LI, we will can all meet at a gas station somewhere off of a highway, let's say grand central or the LIE. Dan will be meeting me at my place on Lewis & Broadway, Brooklyn. If anyone wants to meet us there, you're more than welcome.

If we are going to the Bronx, we can all just meet there since he will be most central to us all. Dan, can meet with me than we can head out. You can head straight there from your place. Percious can get the beer ready

Regardless of meet up place and destination, I say we meetup at 8:45am, Kick Stands Up 9:15am. If this doesn't work for you guys, which I can understand since you guys are further out, just let us know.

My cell # is 347 - 393.4457. Text/call me if anything.

If we are going to Long Island, It would be easier for you 2 to meet at your place and then ride from there. We can meet at my place or meet somewhere just off the LIE or Grand Central. It would depend on the route you guys want to take from your place.

Nah, Brooklyn is where it's at!

There is a good pizza spot up in cornwall we can visit on a group ride when it gets warmer. We can do a Bear mountain Ride and than go for pizza. But that's for a bit later, lets stay focused on this weekend.

Snow will not stick due to 40º temps. We can still ride. Let's continue to wait and see.

ME. LIKE REALLY. MINE IS PRACTICALLY SPLIT IN HALF.

I'm going to plastidip my fairings anyway, so colors don't matter.

With all the things we (mostly, I ) need, we might have to start a fund.
