I see. Well maybe we should have a garage day where we can all show up and help each other work on their bike? Then we can ride from there if everyone isn't burn out from the heat. lol

Hehe, this isn't hot. Hot was my 2k mile ride a few weeks ago from DFW to Houston via Chattanooga, TN and Slidell, LA. Nothing beats baking on Highway 10 during rush-hour traffic in the middle of an 850 mile, 14 hour ride.

Anyone near Fort Worth that would be willing to give me a hand? I'm having one hell of a time getting my rear wheel back together. It's not the brake pads giving me hell then its the rear axle. If it's not the rear axle then it's the brake pads... ARRGGGHH. I never had this many problems with my GSXR.

Anyone in the Dallas area up for a ride in just before the new year? I will be taking leave and heading to SA then to Dallas. I will be there ft about a week before I have to. Report back to my unit. Feel free to invite friends, don't necessarily need to have a 250...

I talked to some CBR250 forum riders in TX and I think they are wanting to do a joint CBR/Ninjette 250 ride. So far they have been talking about doing the ride in Austin but DFW has also been tossed up as a place for a second meet. Just checking to see if anyone would be interested.

I'll see when they're wanting to do it. Originally they planned a huge Austin meet but it got pushed back to early next year. Mostly the CBR guys were around south TX. I think I found 3 so far in DFW. Be nice to get a larger crowd.

same here. i haven't been in a group ride yet. i have a ton of buddies that ride but they ride too crazy for me. i'm looking to ride with some more "tame" or smart riders.

Depends on when you're rolling through. More than likely I can't make it, I've got 2 big races this weekend. One in Belton and one in Temple.

In Ennis now. Pretty cold up here for any long rides. Hopefully the weather will carm up a little. I made it to Temple yesterday before I had my wife pull over to load the bike up.

yeah i haven't ridden in 2 weeks. until i get a better riding jacket, i won't ride in anything 50 degrees or lower. far too cold for me
