I agree, we should meet up and head north to brooksville. At least the roads there aren't perfectly straight.

Can't make it now, I'm in spring hill with the family for the day. I'm about to head up to ride the Ozella trail. That is supposed to be real fun.

Ozello is a blast -- just be careful. There's basically no shoulder, and water on the side of some of the curves.

Hey guys, new Ninja 250 rider in Orlando. Any others out there. I have a friend near Sanford and we are looking for some more 250s to ride with. The big sport bikes leave us behind. I'm sure if there was a big group in Tampa that wanted to get together with us in the middle Davenport/Lakeland area we could try to meet in the middle somewhere!

I think we Orlando riders need to start our own thread to try and put some rides together.

Thanks Lonewolf. Does anyone have the proton flush mounts? How easy are they to install, are they as easy as they look? Are they any good?

I don't have them but from what i've seen they are VERY bright and a good product i just couldn't justify the $90 bucks for them. Sorry to hear about the dump thats never good.

If you guys want to set up a meet or something i am down for one not this weekend but the following! July 4th weekend? Im sure I could get 2 other members to go

Lonewolf I will see what I can do. I think she is out of town that weekend. And I might be tied up at the mouse house But here is my justification for $90. I busted both left signals. If i get the flush mounts, I will take my right front, I will put it in the place of my left rear, hoping that will work. And that save me from buying 2 $48 stock left turn signals. In a few weeks I might replace the back ones with flush mounts too and/or put in the tail light with integrated signals also. Prob wouldn't hurt more lights in the back to get peoples attention. After the new lights, and gear shifter I will be able to ride again. Also I am still breaking in my bike. I bought it "used" with 172 miles on it. It isn't even to 1000 miles, and i'm not completely comfortable with alot of interstate driving. Especially not without (a)nother bike around.

I've been told by others on bigger bikes with more experience that I'm both crazy and braver than them for the amount of time I spend on I-4. It's true, I-4 is insane most of the time. I can't tell you how many times I've had close calls because of cagers being cagers.

cool. My bike is almost at 1000 miles so once it hits that, I will be more willing to get out there, once "code red" (my bike) is fully broken in.

after speaking with mat (caps) we should just have a meet up one day so everyone meet and then try and set up like a group ride another time you know?

i'm down for that. speaking of meetup. I have a group on meetup.com called central florida 250cc sportbikes. check it out, join it. Its free. if you know others who would be in central fl and have 250cc sportbikes, tell them to join to.
