[visordown.com] - BMW R 1200 GS Ilmberger carbon fibre kit
GERMAN carbon fibre (CF) company Ilmberger have produced a CF kit for the R 1200 GS. The 31-piece range of CF parts replace the plastic items on the stock bike and include parts such as hand guards, side covers, engine guards and the 1200 GS beak nose. Ilmberger say: 'From the R 1200 GS' characteristic 'beak' to the wind flaps, engine guards and covers up to replacement covers for the complete tank, almost all of the standard plastic parts can be replaced by Ilmberger carbon parts.' A pair of hand guards cost £270 whilst a front fender will set you back £220. The parts as a whole come to an eye-watering total of £5,630 but can also be purchased individually. All prices can be found on their website. Related Content BMW R1200GS GS1200 Adventure and RT1200 launch Video: 2010 Yamaha Super Tenere teaser Want to race a GS for BMW?
