Long Beach Cali. Progressive International Motorcycle Show December 7-9

For those of you in So.Cal., the Progressive International Motorcycle Show is scheduled in Long Beach for December 7-9 at the LB Convention Center. (Check out the official show site link below for additional venues and dates as well)

Normal advance ticket price is $13 or $15 at the door, but you can get them for $9.50 total( $6.50+ $3.00 handling charge) through Goldstar, an online discount ticket broker. I've used Goldstar for many events and it is great. I've also been to the Progressive Motorcycle show and it is worth going to. Lots of bikes, accessories, activities and Demo rides available. Free parking and gear check if you ride your bike to the show.

Goldstar website for discounted tickets: http://www.goldstar.com/e/62939

Official Show website: http://www.motorcycleshows.com/long-beach
(Check out the site link for additional venues and dates)

I haven't gone out to a motorcycle event in what seems like forever. This sounds like a great chance to take some good pics!

I will (try) to go all 3 days as I did last year. Definitely Friday night for the booths and stuff inside and saturday for DEMO RIDES. They even have free gear check and bike parking! It's a freakin' blast of a great time.

The show's not terribly exciting if you don't need to buy anything, but normally I go to this every year anyways just to buy trackday ticketpacks. Looks like this year it's the one weekend in December I'm definitely going to be out of town though. Boo.

I swear someday I'll get to test ride a can am spyder. Some day.....

Hey, as this event gets closer, maybe we can organize a meet-up of Ninjette members at the convention/show. I'm kind of wondering if anyone would be interested in going there as a group.

If you're going to have breakfast before the show, the best Breakfast in Long Beach is just a few blocks from the Convention Center. This is a great old fashioned neighborhood pile it on your plate breakfast place.

Omelette Inn, 318 Pine Ave. LB 90802.

Free two hour parking a half block from the restaurant in the public parking structure on the NORTH side of 4th St., just East of Pine Ave.

Ever had Long Beach Cafe? I like that place and it's where we went last year. Free parking located...right next to the place lol. Also about 2 blocks from the convention center.

Screw that- there's also a Hooters 2 blocks from the convention center. I didn't really get anything when we all went there last year, but Alex was really raving about that chicken sandwich he ordered

Alex is just grumpy because he never gets serviced by ass or titties...

Anyway - We're talking early breakfast Tiff! So you bring the hooters to Long Beach Cafe!

The only reason why I attended the bike show was for one reason only...to buy the ticket packs. I think it's like 4 trackday spots for $399 with Trackdaz.com

This is a great way for you guys on a tight budget-minded folks who's always wanted to do trackdays but couldn't cuz how "expensive" it was. Also, you can split the tickets among friends.

so you guys are planning Sat. then huh... I'll have to talk to the wife as there is a Christmas party that night that I am attending with the family in Gardena that starts at 5. I was planning on going Sun just because that would be easier and I wouldn't have to dip out early. Is anyone else okay with Sun?

Dustin - being the unemployed loser that I am... Unless I get a job that occupies my time that weekend, I plan on being there for friday, saturday, AND sunday.
