I can try to do this weekend. Most likely the Sat 14th weekend would be alright for me. Whoever wants to do a short run tomorrow or sunday, hit me up. I mean a short run to, I just got my bike back and need to test that everything is ok.

Steve...was going up to 301 anyways so....I have to do somethign about 8:30-9-ish so let me know what your plans are. For me...IKEA is a pita but you're coming from Bushwick right ??? I could meet you right under TriBoro.....21st st and whatever it is. Or...I could meet you west side GWB on Pal Intersate....that very first gas station about 1/4 mile north of the entrance.
I can prob make triboro by 9:30....Pal Interstate by 10:15 as X-bronx will be jammed.
Unless it's actually raining...i'M GOING...cloudy skies no prob.

Eddie, might be to late now but I've decided I'm going to cycle gear in nj. I need get some turn signals. If you catch this in time, let me know. Would be better with at least one bike by my side. I hate going that far for a test ride, but I've been needing a ride like this in my system.

Will most likely wear the new 1 piece just in case.

I couldnt see anything in the drizzle at night....you guys were haulin' ass. I thuink panda has sonar or something. As soon as i turned south....rain disappeared. Sorry you guys didnt take that route because the rain just stopped 1/2 mile south of the turnoff. You took the shield off right ? I think the only way to ride in conditions like that is shield up, glasses off and pray.
I was honestly scared most of the time....God...I loved it.

It stopped raining once we got further south. The jump in temperature once we got into the city felt nice too. A cop might hav been trying to chase us in stopped traffic when we were lane splitting.

I keep thinking about that road, man it was beautiful,

It was f***ing awesome. I'm so used to riding in conditions worst than that, that I was really really enjoying it! If you think we were hauling ass when you were there, you had to see us right after we realized you got off the exit!

Dan, How you like them moves on the highway? I wanted to show you some other moves while riding. You did great though! I truly think that cop was after us, luckily there was lots and lots of traffic. The FDR drive part was awesome too. I can only imagine how you would drive when you get more comfortably/experience!

Hopefully I can ride with you guys within the next couple of weeks.

P.S. We saw deer at least 2 times yesterday! The ones at the top of bear mountain were cool.

Benny, keep checking on the site for group rides, or you can start one up yourself! I think we should have a group ride planned for cycle gear as a few of us need some items. We can also have a tech day either the next day or soon after that.

How much on your ODO? I want to see some crazy digits on everyones bike. I have about the same as rPanda, although I have put most of it myself

Too fast? Maybe in hindsight, but while we were riding, we were blowing through traffic all the way home!

We will get out here soon! Let's have eddie set up a ride for about 2-3 weeks from now. I would love to do some more crazy rides like this past weekend!

I can do something next weekend. This weekend I'll be in Pa. Next weekend we can have a barrage of meetups. On Wednsday of next week can be a cycle gear run. Then Sat can be a tech daym to install everything we purchased, then Sunday a north jersey ride with Eddiekay leading the way. How's that for next weekend?
