Help please! 2004 Kawasaki ZZR250 shutting off completely when tilted to the right?
I have a 2004 Kawasaki ZZR250 that I ran into an odd problem with. When the bike tilts to the right at a certain angle, it shuts the bike off or if the bike is not running I lose the cluster lights except for the oil light (so the neutral light). I've tried messing around with wires while holding the bike tilted to see if they come back on, but nothing. Also tried to mess with the wires while standing straight to see if anything shuts it off and still nothing. Tested the battery voltage and it's fine. Fuses are good. No corroded wires, anything touching frame, bent/pinched that I can visually see. I cannot seem to figure out what the issue is? And it only happens when tilted to the right, not the left. I'll include a video as well. I'd like to try my best to fix it myself without going to a shop if possible. Thanks.

Hi and Welcome Emily!
1. does your bike have tip-over/tilt sensor ? 2. start testing wires at main battery cables. Have assistant hold bike at "dead" angle and wiggle battery cables and work your way forwards. |
