Think there's a special lift that goes into your frame where the ~2" black round caps are, just below the seat.
May also need one of these that seems to lift the bike by the engine. Not sure how thrilled I would be about that, with out aluminum engine taking the weight of the bike.

Alex, just be be safe for everyone with standard pegs, I assume you mean the footpeg mounts as opposed to the peg itself, due to their spring loaded nature.

Or do I like do on my SV. Remove the pegs and turn them upside down, they will try to fold down but not up,

I have a long thin metal bar that I slide through between the rear of the engine and the frame. I place a jack stand under each end to hold the bike up.

Another option that I have done is to strap the front of the bike down into my trailer. Jack the bike up using a floor jack under the engine.
