Non-Integrated Rear Signal Options

Are there any options for aftermarket rear turn signals that aren't integrated with the tail light? I don't want an integrated one, but I would like something sleeker than the stock ones and with LEDs. All I find when I search are integrated lights.

Depends on the look you want.

You could get flush mounts and attach them under the tail to be separate from the turn signal.

Folks have done LED strips in the tail fairings and wired them up to the turn signal.

Hotbodies sells an undertail with turn signals built in.

I've even seen license plate bolts that can also be wired for turn signals.

Hadn't though about LED strips, I'll have to see what I can come up with.

I never wanted an integrated tail until I saw the Custome LED Blaster X. Very clear, very bright. The wife says it's more visible than the OEM indicators, if that is your worry.

That is exactly my worry, the integrated tail lights I've seen on the road have not been very visible. Do you have a video of that model?

Here's a video of the tail light I just installed a few days ago. I think it looks pretty good.

Link to original page on YouTube.

And a link for Amazon. Cost me like $87 with shipping.

Not sure if it's better or worse than the guys above me. I'd have so see em both in action. But I'm pretty damn satisfied.

Just to restate what's already been on the board:
Some states require a minimum distance between turn signals like 8.5"

Yes, I went with this one because it is not sequential. The change doesn't look as intense to me between brake and turn.
