Oil filter washer replacement?

I was curious if anyone knew or can help me to see if I can pick up a regular washer from the hardware store for the oil filter washer as I carelessly threw mine away with the old oil filter. Perhaps someone can get a quick measurement whenever they get around to doing their oil change.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was referring to the washer that sits above the spring when you change out the oil filter and not the crush washer for the drain plug.

This one...

May have to wait till someone can measure it for you. The service manual doesn't list a part # for it...

I bought my bike used and I am doing my first oil change and noticed my was missing too. Is this part crucial? I didn't have any leaks before this oil change.

The first GPX I had the washer was missing, no dramas, just replaced it, the second one I had I put together from a box of bits, it was missing the washer as well, replaced that one. When I bought this bike, I ordered the washer, turns out that the washer is there, oh well I now have a spare. The washer missing doesn't seem to cause any problems, just protects the rubber seal on the filter from the spring.

I guess that is good news if I cant find the washer. Does anyone know if local hardware stores would carry this size washer? I tried looking up the part number at bikerbandits.com but the part was not found.

it may be because the website is actually bikebandit.com and not bikerbandits.com. It is there I just verified it myself.
