aftermarket windscreens
whats the best windscreen? or highest deflecting i guess? looking for something to possibly help push some of the air up and over my head when cruising on the hwy.. being 6ft 300+ lbs, me on the bike is acting as a wall lol!

I like my double bubble but being taller you may also want to consider the touring model...

Wait, why not the sport touring version? Like slolane said, it's much higher and would definitely move air higher up above your head. I got the DB as well but I can see why the sport touring would be even better if wind deflection was top priority.

Oh ok I see. For what it's worth, I'm 6ft exactly and with the DB, the wind hits me right at the top of the helmet when i'm leaned forward. If i'm sitting up then it gets me in the bulk of the helmet and neck/chest area. If I tuck in, it barely skims the top of the helmet if at all. So seeing as your height is very similar to mine, you should be fine with the DB.

okay, i just ordered one so i'll take pics and give a review once i receive it. the sellers feedback was all pretty positive on similar items tho so i figured its worth $24 to check it out.

O.K. guys,
I am waiting for your review in "Estimated delivery within 14-23 business days". "If your don't accept the shipping time ,Please don't bidding" It looks like it is totally blacked out. The picture is really hard to tell if it is much different from stock. The one time I did an eBay purchase direct from China the shipping was really fast. I guess we as Americans have become masters of buying things from China and the supply lines are well oiled.

I also don't feel comfortable buying things on ebay from overseas. It may work for some, but the risks do increase. It looks like a good deal financially and functionally, but it all depends what is most important to you. I prefer ZG because of it's design (there are some differences), and they are made in the USA. I have nothing against buying bargains, but I think we should be more intentional about supporting our own economy, rather than giving more away..... especially to certain countries specifically. Just my thoughts, not a lecture.

Yes, the irony didn't escape me, but I have a much greater aversion to becoming economically dependant on China. But if you want it, go for it. No judgment here.

Well unfortunately most things made for the bike are built overseas wether you buy them in the USA or not.

i got a similar email, ed. got notice mine was shipped today (15th) also. i agree that for $25 bucks its not much risk. i like that its black, i have some custon green decals from CThunder-Blue that Im waiting to put on it and yea cant tell much from the pic but it looks like it bubbles up much more drastically than the stock windscreen. we'll see when it comes.
also, in todays economy i am going to buy the best quality for cheapest price no matter where it comes from. im on a budget and have a list of mods i want to do to my bike. if i can save $75 by buying a "knockoff" from china then so be it. really the windscreen is just a piece of plastic anyway. i dropped $165 on my woodcraft clip ons cuz thats an important piece that i dont want a "cheap knockoff". that 75 i just saved is a good chunk of fundage towards my next purchase: woodcraft or sato rearsets. and for the record, i also bought a set of shorty levers in green off ebay. i tried to get a set from a guy in florida who listed them for $99 or best offer. i offered him $75, he countered with $92! then i saw the same levers from china WITH laser inscription (ninja lol) selling for $80, so i bought those. i would have paid $80 for the ones from florida just to get them sooner (and the florida guy had accepted best offers for $80 in the past i could see in his history) but the guy went $92 on me so i said fark it. hello china!

and today (saturday) my adjustable shorty levers arrived from china. took only 10 days and they are really nice. will be putting them on sunday nite when i have some time. i will post some pics and maybe do a DIY if there isnt one already. either way i will give a report once mounted on the bike and review the quality.
happy w the shipping time tho!

I have the ZG on my 250R and love it. It fits perfect and looks great in the dark smoke. I went with the SR series to keep it low. It's still an improvement over OEM.
