Lowering handlebars using ZX600 risers, but problems...
Per this wiki article on lowering the pregen handlebars, I bought some 93-02 ZX600E handlebars off of eBay for ~$15. I only needed the risers and not the handlebars, but it came with both (and the right handlebar was bent, which is probably why I got them for cheap).
My plan was to just remove the handlebars and toss them, keeping the risers and using them on my Ninja 250. However, it looks like the riser and the handlebar is all one piece. There's no bolt to remove the handlebar portion and from what I can see, it definitely appears that it is, in fact, all one piece.. http://imgur.com/a/OpgW8 Did I not get risers from the right ZX600 model or what? |

As my write-up clearly states ZX600C, so basically yes you got the wrong ones
But I'd still give the try, Kawasaki may have been lazy and your Ninjette controls might just fit. If they work, please let us know

I'm not gonna bother trying them out, since the right handlebar is bent. Guess I'll take the loss or try to resell them. |

I'd say straighten out the right bar, and give them a try, the only thing that might give you some issues is the forward controls, which if the holes in the new bars don't line up, just drill some new ones.
Straighten the bent one should be easy, assuming you have a bench vice, and a long piece of pipe, and a plus is if you can hear it up, otherwise it's brute force and ignorance is your best best. If you don't have any of that, try a local mechanic, shade tree etc..... They usually have the tools, and don't care to try for a few bucks Hell I might be interested in them, PM me if you want to, I know I can straighten them out, hopefully without weaking them.

I might take you up on that offer. On a slightly-unrelated note, if I were to get my hands on some Woodcraft risers for the Ninja 250, would the stock bars fit into those risers? Or would I need to use the Woodcraft bars?

I'm thinking about using an angle grinder with a cutting disc, but is there a cleaner method? |

I had only a dremmal with a cut off disc, risers are just aluminum, so whatever you got handy to get the end results.
Bench grinder?

I used a chap Harbor Freight 4 1/2" angle grinder and disk. I think combined, they cost me $15 USD. Love those 20% off coupons! LOL
