Question on Shogun Sliders + Carb clearance.
Hi everyone, I'm thinking of picking up the Shogun frame sliders (http://www.kawiforums.com/ninja-250r...tallation.html) but will also eventually rejet my carbs. Question, from those images above, will the slider "bars" block the carbs so that it would require me to remove the sliders everytime I want to tune my carbs? I just got the bike so am not familiar with its anatomy as of yet. Thanks in advance everyone.

I'm not sure if they will block, but some other folks who have experience with the Shoguns have posted up in the wiki here, and there are some related threads.
Here's a link to the wiki section, and here's one of those threads.

I put them on my wife's bike. I removed the carbs for shimming and tweaking. It was a little bit of hassle but it came out after some twisting and turning. Drain the carbs first, ask me how I know.... But no you don't have to remove the bars to get the carbs off. Good thing too as I only had Loctite red when I put them on.

I just rejet my bike today with ( drill a hole in slider). Shogun doesn't block at all. Pulled out carb/clean/rejet put back in about 1 hour.

I removed my airbox, so the Shoguns are no problem, since I pull my carbs from under the seat.

Can I pull the carbs out from under the seat without having to remove the airbox entirely off the bike? That is, just leave it within the bike, dangling.
