Ninji the world traveler
I will be purchasing a mascot stuffed animal for ninjette. My intentions is to let him travel the world and visit a number of members and complete his whirlwind tour at my house in a year or two.
Each member gets him for 2 weeks. Take him with you on road trips and to your hangouts and take pictures of him living the good life then ship him on to the next member on the list for some r&r. Time to start the travel intenerary! heres a pic of Ninji:

That's a really cool idea and such a cute little guy. I hope everyone here gets involved and is very responsible with him, he's precious cargo after all.

We did this on ADV - a little stuffed ostrich in a small Pelican case. It's still in New Zealand, as far as I know. Each member would keep it for a tour around their area, then hook up with another member to meet/greet/handoff.
It's a total hoot and has been ongoing now for a couple years. The really cool part is meeting new folks to do the handoff. |

I'm in. I'm normally running between DFW, Mobile, Tampa and San Diego, so getting the little bugger around would be a treat.
Here's the last one I was involved in. Turns out, it's in India now: Pooey's World Tour. |

ME!!! I don't know what my cat will do to him but I'll be sure to get it on camera.
Which, itself, was a reference to a character from the classic literature, Of Mice and Men, by John Steinbeck (also known for The Grapes of Wrath). IIRC, Lenny, the large, muscular, mentally disabled guy names a field mouse after George, the "smart" one who takes care of and defends his friend, Lenny. It ends tragically. |

Do I see an NSA tag sticking out of his behind?
I was gonna volunteer to make sure he gets some mileage when he's near me, but I'm not so sure now, being an NSA agent...

well if Ninji ever leaves the mainland feel free to have him drop over this end of the globe, maybe after a trip to hawaii or something? could do a hawaii, NZ, Oz, Bali, JKT, malaisia, Philipines trip. well only if anyone besides me down here is willing to take ninji for a ride.
count me in if its heading down here
