Ok so after a lot of questions and answers and searches and fails and retrying...im excited that i can finally sort of in a way contribute to the forum...or at least i think i am havent seen anyone else talk about this...but anway...
i finally got my integrated tail light to work (except it wasnt plug and play like Renner's (http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showt...ight=plug+play)... lucky bastard ![]() So anyway... i just got my BikeMaster Flush Mounts (http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...T.ac=SLIsearch)and remembering a thread on here from a month ago (http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showt...t=flush+mounts) i went ahead and did my flush mounts like that. =D So while i was doing that i was like hold up? ![]() why cant i do my integrated tail light turn signals like that? So instead of having to buy the OEM connectors from Eastern Beaver (http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/El...onnectors.html) i now can just connect the resistor to the ground on one side and both of the power cables on the other side use a little electrical tape and walla... ![]() no cutting and is easily reversible... ![]() but as one question might come up is how is the blinking...to fast? to slow? well the answer is it was pretty fast... =( but good news.. =D Quote:
![]() ![]() so then i thought again... ![]() ![]() by the way wondering what resistors i used i just went to radio shack and bought 2... 50ohms 10 watt 10% tolerance resistor and it worked =D but tomorrow i might try to use some 100ohms ones for funsies and i will let you know how that turns out... ![]() so for $30 for integrated tail light with free shipping $5 for resistors and $2 for electrical tape not a bad deal... =D i will post pics tomorrow... ![]() even though you can probably imagine what i did... EDIT:so i went and got a 100ohms resistor and if you do that you dont need to switch the bulbs out... ![]() Heres the pics nothing special just thought id post since i said i was... ![]() GEDC0001.jpg GEDC0005.jpg GEDC0002.jpg GEDC0003.jpg Last futzed with by PsHYk; July 18th, 2012 at 10:34 AM. |
