battery problem?

I haven't used my bike for a month or two and when i tried to turn it on it would make buzzing noise or no sound at all and not turn on. I assumed it was the battery so i bought a charger (schumacher 1.5 amp maintainer) for it. I realized that i need an outlet but since i live at an apartment i park it outside. I'm wondering if it is possible if i take the battery out of the bike and charge it in my house with the charger.or another way im thinking is if i should just buy a new battery.

Have you tried jumping the battery and just letting it run for a few minutes? Probably the easiest solution of all as long as you have access to another vehicle and jumper cables. Just leave the the other vehicle off so the added load of the spinning alternator doesn't burn up your battery.

Yes you can take the battery out and try charging it indoors. I'm assuming you have a smart charger that will shut off once it reaches full charge. The battery may not be able to recover from the long term discharge.
