Still need to install my frame sliders, hopefully by this weekend. Anybody have any other suggestions?

i'm all for clipons on these bikes. i believe i'm on the shortlist for getting them when they're ready from woodcraft. i'll post up when they become available. or you can get vortex ones now.

i'll have both in a couple weeks and hopefully can give some kind of review comparing the two.

Yeah I agree. Especially when you want to lower the front like I do. It pushes the damn bars up too high with those spacers. Are the clip ons hard to install?

no... its pretty straight forward. we had to drill a hole in the bars and transfer all your controls, but thats it.

Its loud. I would say it sounds ok, but 250 motors never sound good to me. I think they sound like hopped up lawn mowers. There is a clip on you tube with same exhaust if you care to hear.

I was hoping it'd be quiet. I have the Area P normal core exhaust. It's awful. The power gains are nice, but man...you're right about the hopped up lawn mower. I sound like I'm tearing @ss around, but I'm doing 40mph lol.

Nice looking ride! One other thing you could do is swap the rear turn sigs or flushmount them.

But what flushmounts do you have? Those aren't the Lockhart Phillip ones I was looking at... yours seem to stick out alot more = more visibility.

I bought the frame sliders from Surfside Moto.

I modified the stock turn signals. I took the front half off the signal. Then I ground the backside of the fairing flat. I might make a write up on here, I have a new fairing for the right side, mines cracked. So I have to redo that one side.

Please do... you ground down the fairing? I saw it on the "other" forum too and definitely wanted to give it a try. But I don't want to mess it up and end up having to pay for flushmounts anyways

Yeah I like the exhaust. It was my favorite looking, its loud as hell too. Sounds like the loudest damn hopped up lawn mower you'll ever hear!

Yeah I got the idea from a guy on Kawi forums. It sorta easy to do if you have the right tools.
Of course I work at a body shop so that helps. Ill get to it this weekend hopefully and make a post out of it.
