Considering Painting my Ninjette/Help!
Hey all.
My bike is currently yellow and purple(I don't really like either of those colors)...I am thinking of buying some of those infamous rattle cans and doing a metallic blue(similar to MistuhT's 2nd project bike)...tell me, please, what would be a good paint? My thought is to do blue front, a white stripe down the side about at the middle of the seat, and black from there to the tail. I have worked in a paint shop, but never painted a bike(nor purchased any paint). Also, how long of a job should I expect when I clean the carbs(I've never done carbs)....aaand front fork seals? Any advice/direction/tips/criticism will be appreciated. God bless--Brad |

Roight-o So I've painted my bike before. I didn't get too involved with stripes and what not but I did a black over the crappy blue I had. I used Gloss black paint + primer all in one and mine didn't turn out so bad..... I used some vinyls for flare :P

Okay. I'd like to know what brands of paint people have used.

Make sure you prep the area well and use a good paint gun.
