New Ninja Rider

After puttering around on a cheaply built Chinese scooter for a few months, I've finally manage to secure a major upgrade!

When I first talked about getting my endorsement, a friend jokingly suggested I get a Ninja, because it's the only bike he really knew anything about, lol. Well, the more research I did, the more I realised an older 250 (not a fan of the 2008+ style) would be perfect (great power to mpg ratio).

And after months of searching on Craigslist, I finally found one about an hour North of me (that ride was... Fun). I don't have a name for her yet, put I already have plans on what modifications/upgrades I'm gonna make. She still needs a bit of work (new tires, front signals hooked up, and some missing body work), but nothing I can't handle in time. :>

tl;dr: Hello! :3

Hello Chloe, it's good to meet you. I like your standard style headlight and front signals, and it looks like you have an instrument mounted (speedometer or tachometer, or combination maybe?) I'm not sure what you'd like to end up with, but mine is pretty similar to yours.

The street fighter look is what drew me to it; I've never really cared for how they look with standard fairings (though a windscreen of some sort would be a wise investment). Just a speedo on it... in KPH. With no backlight. lol

I'm definitely gonna swap it out for something better at some point (maybe a digital one?). :P

Among my plans for her are blacking out as much of the chrome as I can, and then paint the tank and plastics blinding pink (Go ahead... Tell the cops you didn't see me there. I ****ing dare you).

Since she still needs a name, anyone wanna help out? :3

I made a poll for it!

"Hotaru" was originally on the list, but after reading through the forums I've decided against it. Both out of respect, and due to the fact that I don't want to tempt fate. |D
