Custom Petcock?

Is there an aftermarket petcock with an OFF position for the J series ninjas? I know they say gas shouldn't flow without a vac, but that's never been the case anytime I try to remove my gas tank.

We put an aftermarket petcock on our '90 Ninja Beater that doesn't have a vacuum fitting - but it's a pain.

It fits, but is a lot shorter than the original (doesn't stick down as far), so it's tucked way up under the tank. This bike doesn't have fairings, so it's kinda accessible, but with fairings I don't think you could get to it. You don't want to leave it in the ON position all the time, so it wouldn't be very handy.

Rebuild kits and new stock petcocks are available. Mine was leaking when I got it, and I found that a size 007 Viton O-ring on the valve plunger cured it. The only way to know why it's not shutting off is to take it apart and examine it though.
