Unhappy Ordered fullsystem, recieved a slip-on

So guys, i ordered this system :
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT
and what i got, was the Slip-on system, without the header and stuff. and now for my question:
Is the Slip-on version, completly identical with the fullsystem muffler? or is it 2 different things, one made for slipping on, and the other one is made to fit just the Yoshimura pipes?
I really don't want to send the **** back, it could be so awesome if the shop could just send me the pipes i need, instead of making me send the **** back, and then send me the full system.
Cheers from Denmark ^^

I would contact them and find out where the rest of my exhaust system is! I know you're in denmark and email stuff is slow and a phone call is probably expensive, but looks like they made an error. They are in california and if you wanna pm me your info I'll call them and tell them you're my brother or somethin and ask them what the deal is.

With 2540 feedback and 99.7% good.. I would expect them to make things right for ya.

If nothing else you can start a claim process with paypal (assuming you paid with paypal), if it works out fine then you can cancel your claim and no one is affected, if it doesn't work out you can ask for some or all of the money back...if you ask for all, they will make you send it back though. The main thing this does is extend the period of time they have to make it right without the paypal policy expiring.

It really goes to show how great people are....I've asked for favors before and have never been screwed around, hopefully I'll get the chance to do one too

I'm sure they will make it right. They seem to have good feedback on eBay. It was prolly just a simple mistake. Give em a chance to fix it before you rip em.

Way to step up Rock!

I don't mind this mistake tbh, as long as its free. The Ninja is gonna stand still untill Spring... **** sake... I just wanted to feel the sweet feel of such a nice product! It's wrapped in plastic, 2 feet away from me, and i'm just dying to open it! But man, that would just be shooting myself in the foot! (: And Rock is the man!

They found the full system in stock that they shouldn't have, and missing a slip-on. Here's the scoop....
The canister is the same either way but the mid pipes are different. He said he'll have the mid pipe needed to fit the canister to the yosh header sent to him and he'll have it tomorrow. He'll then put it with the header and try to get it shipped back out tomorrow on it's way to you. You will end up with the mid pipe that you have now as extra and no need to send that back, just keep it or pitch it.

He said they will be shipped "replacement parts" so they have no value to you, I guess this is an attempt to save you from the toll, and they are covering the shipping costs.

His name is Andy and he sounded genuine and very apologetic that they shipped the wrong stuff to my bro in law

You better post pics when you get this stuff on the bike!!!

Props to you Rock. awesome....you shall now achieve enlightenment on your deathbed (think that is what the Dali Lama gives Bill Murray in Caddyshack)

None the less...love seeing people helping other people they don't even really know, shows that the good in the majority of people is definately out weighing the bad

Does the Yoshi system have a O2 sensor fitting and are you planning to reprogram your bike somehow?

it will most likely fit, but the system will not have an O2 bung. You will most likely need have one installed.

Only need to adjust the heatshield position (and tight the clamp at the bottom), and then i'm done!
And the heatshield will get painted flat black, when i recieve my Power Commander & the rest of the exhaust (aka. when it's time to take off all the plastic and do the REAL work).

glad things worked out for you
way to go for helping a fellow member! * high 5*

btw looks nice!
if you dont like the headshield, maybe you'll like a Targa heatshield better. Google it or take a look at the pics on my page to see kinda what it looks like. They have different colors to choose from.

btw, i just talked to Dynojet, and the price of installing, mapping and buying the powercommander (+ a K&N filter) is nothing less than 1400$ :0
but what the hell, It's a certified place and i guess that putting another 1400 into the bike, is just raising the overall value, as i guess some people would want a bike with all of these things installed.
