there have been a few people asking about it but i've yet to see a ninja 250 with one. seen a few gixxers with 5.1 stereos though... it seems like more of a show-bike thing, maybe check out photos from motorcycle expos?

Thanks for the responce everyone. Just day dreaming about how I could mod my Ninjette and possible shows I could enter it in after I mod the hell out of it. It's going to have of course the pod race filters, full exhaust ( next month), then the cosmetics. Eventually, I will intstall some speakers and I will post some pics and a vid or 2. Sound good?

My brother installed some 12" JL Audio subs in his 1986 Pontiac Fiero some years ago...with 6"X9" front speakers, and 6" component speakers for the doors. Anythings possible with patience and ingenuity. And money of course

Sweet dude, I was Bastogne "Above the Rest" 1st BAT. Got messed up, now in WTB. I was attached to no Slack during my OEF tour May2010-2011. Same here, I feel you. Nice to meet another Bulldog. We should start a Bastogne "Club" if you recall the playing card roles of 101st ABN DIV. We had a huge banner on our FOB that said, " Welcome to the "Club" 101st ABN DIV, AASLT.

your for got... dirt in common area, pissed off Squad Leader or even worse... Wife. Which ever applies. I'm almost out now. Should be out on 100% Disability by Jan 2013

Back on topic,

Has anyone considered using those vibration/ surface speakers to make their bike's fairings the speakers? The audio wouldn't be as good, but it'd definitely make it a lot easier to keep the look of your bike clean.

I actually did some research and you can get 4 inch marine speakers in there, provide you need to make custom mounting brackets. I personally would install them in your front fairing area where the radiator is. If you sit on your bike and look through the opening where you can see your forks and wheel fairing, to the left and right of that. I would then install a "Y" input adapter so you can plug in your mp3 player. Trust me, you can hear marine speakers, even at 70 mph. Unless you have an extremely loud exhaust.

There is absolutely no clearance issues with forks, handle bars and hands. I use Hand Armor race gloves and no issues.
